Printing & Exporting Schedules

You can print the schedule or export it (e.g. to PDF) for posting or sharing.

  1. Use Print (or Print schedule) in the calendar header or menu.
  2. A print preview or dialog opens, showing how the schedule will look on paper.

Optimizing for Wall Display

  • The printed layout is usually designed to be readable on paper (e.g. A4). Use Portrait or Landscape as suggested.
  • You can often filter by department before printing so each posted sheet shows only the relevant team.

Printing the Schedule

  1. Open the Print dialog.
  2. Optionally choose departments, options (e.g. show legend, colors, total hours).
  3. Use Print to send it to your printer.

Saving as PDF

  1. Open the Print (or Download / Export) dialog.
  2. Choose Save as PDF (or Download PDF) as the destination instead of a physical printer.
  3. Save the file. You can then share it or print it later.

Understanding the Print Layout

  • The calendar grid (employees × dates) is shown with shift names, times, and colors.
  • Time off may appear as overlays or separate markers.
  • A legend can explain colors and shift types. Total hours per employee or per day may be included if you enabled those options.
