Shift Scheduling & Management

The shift calendar is where you plan who works when. You create shift types (e.g. Morning, Afternoon), assign them to employees on specific dates, and use the calendar view to manage your schedule. This section covers how to set up shift types and how to use the calendar.

Key Concepts

Shift template – Reusable type with name, start/end time, and color (e.g. "Morning" 08:00–16:00).

Custom shift – One-off shift: you enter start and end time for a single assignment; no template.

Calendar – Employees in rows, dates in columns. Assign shifts by clicking cells, using templates, or drag-and-drop.
