Dashboard Overview
Understanding the Dashboard
- Open Dashboard → Home (or your organization's Dashboard).
- The page has:
- A header with the organization name, a short overview line, and a Refresh button.
- A row of stat cards (totals and today's snapshot).
- A widget grid: Live Attendance, Today's Schedule, Upcoming Time Off, and Weekly Hours.
Data is loaded when you open the dashboard and when you switch organization. Use Refresh to fetch the latest numbers and lists.
Real-Time Statistics
The stat cards give a quick snapshot:
- Total Employees – Number of active employees.
- Checked In Now – How many are currently checked in (working).
- Shifts Today – Number of shift assignments for today.
- Hours This Week – Total logged hours this week (from time logs), in hours and minutes.
- Upcoming Time Off – Count of time off entries in the next 14 days.
These update when you refresh. They are not live-updating; use Refresh to see changes after check-ins, new shifts, or new time off.
Quick Navigation Cards
Each widget has a "View all" (or similar) link that takes you to the relevant section:
- Live Attendance → Time logs (view all entries).
- Today's Schedule → Shifts (calendar).
- Upcoming Time Off → Time off (list and pending requests).
- Weekly Hours shows the week range and total team hours; you can open Time logs from the app navigation to see details.
Clicking a row (e.g. an employee in attendance or in today's schedule) often links to that employee's profile (e.g. time logs or schedule tab).
Activity Feed
The dashboard does not have a separate "activity feed" list. Instead, the widgets act as your activity overview:
- Live Attendance – Who is working now, who has finished, who was scheduled but hasn't checked in.
- Today's Schedule – Who is supposed to work today and when.
- Upcoming Time Off – Who is off in the next 14 days.
- Weekly Hours – Who has logged hours this week and how much.
Together, these give you a live view of current activity. Use Refresh to update it.
