Daily Manager Tasks

Morning Checklist

  1. Open the Dashboard and Refresh to load the latest data.
  2. Check Shifts Today and Live Attendance: who is scheduled, who has checked in, who is missing.
  3. Review Upcoming Time Off for today and the next few days so you know who is absent.
  4. If anyone scheduled hasn't checked in, follow up (reminder, swap, or note in time logs later).
  5. Confirm time clock devices are online and reachable if you use them.

Monitoring Active Employees

  • Use the Live Attendance widget: Currently Working (checked in, not out), Finished (checked out), Not Checked In (scheduled but no check-in).
  • Use Checked In Now in the stat cards for a quick headcount.
  • Click View allTime logs to see today's sessions, or open an employee's profile from a widget row for their time logs.

Handling Time Log Corrections

  • When an employee forgot to check in/out or you need to fix times:
    1. Go to Time logs.
    2. Filter by employee and/or date.
    3. Edit the existing entry (correct check-in/check-out) or Add a manual time log for the missed punch.

End-of-Day Procedures

  1. Refresh the dashboard and check Live Attendance again. Ensure everyone who checked in has checked out (or note exceptions).
  2. Review time logs for the day: missing punches, wrong times, or manual entries. Correct as needed.
  3. Today's Schedule and Shifts Today help you confirm who was supposed to work vs. who actually logged time.
  4. Note any time off starting tomorrow and any schedule changes for the next day.
