Filtering & Searching
You can narrow down the list so you only see the time logs you need.
Filtering by Employee
- Use the search box to look up a specific employee.
- Type their name or PIN.
- The table updates to show only that employee's time logs.
Search is usually live: results change as you type. Clear the search to see everyone again.
Date Range Filtering
- Use the date range control (often a calendar or "from" / "to" fields).
- Pick a start date and end date.
- The table shows only time logs whose check-in date falls within that range.
You can also use shortcuts like "Current month" or "Previous month" if your organization has set those up.
Using Multiple Filters Together
- You can combine search and date range (and department, if available).
- For example: search for "Maria" and set the date range to last week.
- The table shows only time logs that match all the active filters.
Search Tips
- Search by full or partial name (e.g. "Mar" to find "Maria").
- Search by PIN if you know it.
- Search is typically case-insensitive.
Clearing Filters
- Use "Clear filters" (or similar) to remove all filters and search at once.
- The table returns to showing all time logs (within normal access limits).
- You can also clear filters one by one (e.g. clear the search box, or reset the date range).
